This is one of the most beautiful, cost-effective, functional, healthy and “green” environments you can get.   It gives you something fabulous to look at.  It is relatively inexpensive to create.  It stabilizes a hillside better than any other type of landscape, preventing erosion and slides.  It is extremely low-maintenance.  It contributes to a healthy environment for your family, pets and neighbors.  Done properly, it can eliminate the need for pesticides and herbicides, not only in the meadow itself, but throughout the rest of your landscape.  It attracts beneficial insects that naturally control harmful pests.  And there are all sorts of variations on the basic environment.
